We stopped here for lunch on the 21st of May. I ordered Irn Bru and a mince pie. The Irn Bru is a must-try drink proudly made in Scotland. It was the first time I had it in a long time it still tasted just like I remembered it, with its distinctive flavour of chewing gum (yes, if you never tried it, you must).
The mince pie, that came with a salad, was rather standard but it was good, with its doughy exterior wrapped around meat which is only slightly seasoned. Overall, it was a simple lunch but it was good.
In terms of options, Chippy On The Corner sells fish and chips in all of its variations, including haddock and cod but also other things, most of them deep fried.
The interior of the place is decent. They have several tables and you can order, sit, then food will be brought to you. The metal that separates clients from employees is an average example of the sloppy quality of Scottish handcraft.
